Plan your perfect Alpine holiday — we design and organise everything for you.

Want a summer in the Alps that feels truly yours — not a holiday centre, not a rigid group itinerary, but without the stress of spending hours researching, booking, checking safety standards, and wondering if everything will run smoothly?
This is a flexible, tailor-made multi-activity holiday in the Southern French Alps. You choose the activities you’d like to do, and we design and organise your holiday in advance — booking everything, planning the timings, and making sure it all works smoothly. All the choice — without having to organise it yourself.
Because we’re based here, we don’t just book activities — we design your holiday to make the most of the area, the conditions, and what’s happening locally during your stay.
No last-minute decisions, no scrambling for availability, no wondering how to fit it all in. Just a well-planned holiday that makes the most of your time in the mountains, without the usual compromises.
Listen to this interview with our founder, Sally Guillaume, about how the summer multi activity holiday works.
Whether you’re travelling as a family with kids or teenagers, an outdoorsy couple after a long weekend, or a group of adventurous friends, we’ll help you find the right mix of activities so everyone has a brilliant time even if you don’t all want the same thing.
1. Choose your activities
Use your activity points to select the experiences that appeal to you. Different people in your group can choose different activities.
2. We design your itinerary
We design and book your holiday, balancing activity levels and planning everything so it all fits together properly.
3. Travel and enjoy
You arrive with a complete, personalised itinerary, full details in your travel app, and everything organised so your holiday runs smoothly.
It’s your holiday - just without the uncertainty. Read our blog on What a typical family activity holiday week looks like.
Planning your holiday before you travel means:
One day you might be canyoning through clear pools, the next walking to a mountain refuge for lunch. Add white-water rafting, via ferrata, mountain biking or lake time, and we’ll shape it into a week that feels varied, realistic and enjoyable rather than rushed.
You choose the ingredients — we make it work seamlessly.
This holiday is available from April to September and whilst the range of activities may change during the different seasons, there is enough choice for an action packed Spring half term for families as well as the summer holidays. For outdoor lovers not tied to school holidays there is a huge amount to discover both inside and outside of the summer season! If you are looking for this sort of holiday specifically in the Autumn or for October half term, then please have a look at our Autumn Multi Activity holiday in the Alps.

Once your holiday is booked, you’ll choose how to spend your activity points from our menu of adventures. We are on hand to guide you with friendly advice, honest recommendations and local knowledge to help you pick the best mix for your group, whether that’s high-energy thrills, bigger mountain days, or a balance with downtime by the lake.
You don’t all have to do the same activities. You can split and share points within your group however you like — perfect for families where teenagers want more action, or mixed-interest groups.
Listen to this interview with founder, Sally for more insight into how this holiday works.
As soon as we have your activity choices, we design and book your tailor-made itinerary so everything fits together smoothly: timings, meeting points, travel time, weather considerations and the small details that make a holiday feel effortless. You get the freedom of a self-drive, independent trip with a local team quietly making sure it all works. We take pride in creating great itineraries so you can make the most of the area and enjoy your holiday worry free!
For certain guided activities, we will group you with other guests of a similar profile (for example, families with teenagers together), so you get a great atmosphere while keeping things safe and well-matched.
Before you travel, you’ll receive access to your personalised travel app, which includes:
When you arrive, we’ll meet you in person for a personalised welcome briefing to go through the plan, answer questions and share local insider tips from the best swims and easy family walks to great picnic spots and evening ideas. And because we’re based locally, you have real, on-the-ground support throughout your stay if anything needs adjusting.
This is an example of how a 7-night holiday might be structured. Every itinerary is personalised, but this gives a realistic sense of pace, variety and how your activity points could be used. Lots of our families with teenagers choose this kind of balance: active days, shared adventures, a remote refuge night, and enough downtime to enjoy the lakes, villages and local events.
Day 1 – Arrival and welcome
Arrive and settle into your accommodation. We meet you in person for a welcome briefing, run through your itinerary and share local tips — from the best lakeside swims to nearby evening markets.
Day 2 – Via ferrata + lake time (2 points)
A guided via ferrata in the morning — a great introduction to the mountains with spectacular views.
Afternoon free to relax by a nearby lake, with time for a swim or paddleboard hire.
Day 3 – White-water rafting + summer evening (2 points)
A half-day rafting trip on one of the region’s best rivers.
On the way back, we suggest stopping at a lakeside restaurant for a relaxed dinner, followed by the weekly summer fireworks display (every Wednesday in July and August).
Day 4 – Canyoning adventure (3 points)
A half-day canyoning trip — one of the standout experiences of the region. Slide, jump and swim through clear pools in a beautiful gorge, with options to suit different confidence levels.
Afternoon free to relax or explore a nearby village.
Day 5 & 6 – Night in a mountain refuge (2.5 points)
A two-day experience walking up to a high mountain refuge.
Spend the night in a remote alpine setting with no road access, no mobile signal and no WiFi — a genuine break from everyday life. Share a simple meal, enjoy the quiet of the mountains, and return the following day. This is often a highlight of the holiday, offering a very different pace and a real sense of being away. A chance to disconnect completely and experience a different side of the Alps.
Day 7 – Light activity + local culture (0.5–1 point)
A more relaxed final day to unwind. Choose a lighter activity such as tubing, a watersplash park or a high ropes course — ideal for unwinding after a more active week.
We may also suggest a local cultural experience depending on the timing of your stay — for example a village fête, a night market, or a medieval re-enactment at a nearby château.
Day 8 – Departure
This kind of itinerary:
And because it’s all planned in advance, everything fits together smoothly — you simply arrive and enjoy.
Many couples looking for a more mountain-focused and physically engaging holiday choose this kind of itinerary — combining a summit experience with varied activities and time to explore independently.
Day 1 – Arrival and welcome
Arrive and settle into your accommodation. We meet you in person to go through your itinerary and share local insights — from quieter walking routes to good cafés, lakeside spots and places to explore between activities.
Day 2 – E-MTB exploration day (1.5–2 points)
A full day exploring the valley on e-mountain bikes. We suggest a scenic route linking villages, viewpoints and quieter tracks, with options to stop for lunch or a swim along the way.
Day 3 – Self-guided mountain walk
A longer walk using our route notes — for example to a high col or panoramic ridge. A good preparation day ahead of the mountaineering experience.
Day 4 & 5 – Mountaineering summit with refuge night (8.5 points)
A two-day guided mountaineering experience, including the summit guiding, and the refuge night. Walk up to a high mountain refuge on day one, spend the night in a remote alpine setting, and set off early the next morning to cross the glacier and climb an Alpine summit before returning to the valley.
A proper alpine experience — more committing, quieter, and very different from valley-based activities, with a strong sense of progression and achievement.
Day 6 – Local market + lake time
A well-earned slower day. Visit a local market in the morning to explore regional produce and village life, then spend the afternoon relaxing by the lake — swimming, reading or enjoying a long lunch
Day 7 – Canyoning (3 points)
A half-day canyoning trip — a fun, physical contrast after the mountaineering days. Afternoon free to relax, with time for a swim or a good meal out to round off the holiday.
Day 8 – Departure
This itinerary uses more than the standard 10 activity points because the mountaineering summit is a premium guided experience.
Total: approx. 13–13.5 points
Your holiday includes 10 activity points per person as standard. Extra points can be added when you choose your activities at 22€ per point. Once your holiday is booked, any further points you add later are charged at cost price, so you can fine-tune your itinerary without paying more than you need to.
This kind of itinerary:
And because everything is designed and booked in advance, it all fits together smoothly — you simply arrive and enjoy.
We have a range of different activities, with a variety of age and skill levels to choose from so you can adapt the holiday to suit you. This holiday is perfect for mixed ability groups and families with both teenagers or young children.

The nearest major town is Gap which is just south of Grenoble and north of Marseilles. Gap has a train station which links to the major TGVs such as Aix-en-Provence, Valence and Grenoble and also has a night train directly from Paris. The nearest airports are Marseilles, Grenoble or Lyon but Nice, Turin and Geneva are also drivable distance.
This is a self-drive holiday. We strongly recommend having your own car so you can get to your activity meeting points easily and make the most of the region in your downtime — lakes, valleys, villages and viewpoints are all best accessed by car, and public transport is limited.
However, if you are a group with a full itinerary and would like a quote for a transport included holiday, please just let us know when you make your enquiry.
If you are looking for a car free holiday, then have a look at our Alps to Provence along the Durance Cycle Touring Holiday as this is a very flexible trip with lots of activity options which can be tailored into a bike and train led multi activity holiday.
